The ShuckBuddy Corn Stripper makes preparing sweet corn for freezing fast, efficient, and enjoyable.
Designed to quickly strip kernels from the cob, the ShuckBuddy processes both raw and blanched sweet corn, helping gardeners, homesteaders, and food preservation enthusiasts save valuable time during harvest season. Powered by compressed air, the unit operates on 80–100 PSI and includes three interchangeable dies to accommodate a wide range of ear sizes.
Simply husk and de-silk your corn, trim away any damaged areas, and let the ShuckBuddy do the work. As the cob passes through the stripping die, freshly removed kernels are directed downward through the clear kernel chute, allowing them to flow neatly into your container of choice, whether it's a bowl, freezer bag, or jar. Once stripped, the empty cob is redirected by the deflector plate into a waste basket for quick and efficient cleanup.

Care
- The Clear Kernel Chute is not dishwasher safe
- Periodically check the die and plunger to ensure they are tight
- Spray the piston shaft with vegetable oil before use and periodically during use

Note
- For the large die kit you will have to enlarge the current die opening to fit the large die A 2 inch step bit is perfect for the job
2/3 of the country b sheeted off great. But we still had to pick up each ear and run a knife over the 1/3 left. All in all, yes it saved us time. Still, disappointing to have to manually handle each cob.
Oh my goodness! Game changer for real…. When our family gets together to do freezer corn every year it used to take like all day to process a truck load of sweet corn….. the only thing slowing us down this year was we didn’t have enough turkey burners going to par-boil our cobs. About 1/2 through we busted out another burner and from 1:00-5:30pm we had processed a pickup load of corn. My dad was timing us, had we had a consistent flow of par boiled corn we could’ve done over 700 cobs an hour! Way better than using electric knives, cobs came out cleaner too. Highly recommend if you process a lot of corn!
I gave this only 3 stars because mine come with a damaged die the smallest die has 2 creases like it was dropped or something during assembly.

Did about 4 dozen ears in 8 min cycle time in a blanch operation. 366 quarts total roughly 6-8 ears in a quart freezer bag. No going back to old way cutting corn.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!!! We wish we had one years ago. Little to no waisted corn. What was waisted was most likely due to the person working the machine (That would be me). I have send a video of us running the shuckbuddy to all of our friends. If I could give this machine 10 stars I would have.
Works pretty darn well I would to see more power. Even though I adjusted the air regulator some cobs didn’t push through and had to be pulled back out. This unit is an absolute time saver. I did several hundred ears and the first 41 in less than 5 minutes

The shuck buddy saved us lots of time cutting off 53 dozen of corn which we would have spent a few hours cutting off, took it down to about 30 minutes. Great item to purchase if you’re looking for a time saver and a hand saver.
Definitely worth it, ran about 300 to 350 ears of corn thru it and only had issues with the ears of corn we had to snap the point off of.
OMG!! Shuck buddy is worth every penny! We were able to remove kernels off 284 ears in about 15-20mins. Highly recommend everyone get one today!!!!
For doing big amounts of corn it’s the only way to go we put up 46lbs of corn in a matter of no time would highly recommended this product
